Hey there everyone,
I'm currently starting out on a rebuild of my 1979 spider 2000, carbed. I'm about halfway through replacing the rotors and going through the brakes, but i keep staring at the suspension knowing that needs going over too.....so my question is, do i finish the brakes and enjoy the car for a short while, then work on the suspension reconditioning? Or do i just keep digging into the suspension knowing it'll keep the car on jack stands for quite some time.....suggestions?

Re: can of worms question
Either path would work, but if it were me, I'd do the brakes first, enjoy the car, and see what else needs attention. Suspension work can usually wait unless the ball joints or tie-rod ends are shot, the shocks are locked up or loose in their mounts, or the tires are showing rapid wear.
