Just took the engine out of my 79 since I'm transferring it into a 75, noticed a spot where I never had to disconnect a line. It was running before. This is just under in intake, anyone know what it's supposed to be connected to?

Yes, that is the crankcase oil separator. The hose is the crankcase breather tube. It is supposed to go to the carb inside the air cleaner so that any vapors, oil mist gets burned by the engine.
