Hello Everybody,
My name is Hubert van Straelen and I am from the center of The Netherlands. In 1993 I bought a 1982 Spider without really knowing a lot about Spiders. The car was an US / CS0 Spider with Fuel Injection. Although a lot of people said at that time to me that I bought the wrong Spider (I should have bought an European 1600), I learned that the Fuel Injected CS0 is perfect to tour and cruise through the Benelux. Currently I own my Spider for 30 years and in those years I've given it yearly the needed maintenance and in return I've a very reliable Fiat Spider. Love the car never expected to keep it so long for so many joyful years.

Re: Hello From The Netherlands
Welcome Hubert
Great story. We purchased our 1981 Fiat Spider in 2003 and like you try and maintain it properly. So now it has around 205,000 miles on the odometer. That's a lot whether it is miles or kilometers and still going strong.
Always good to hear others enjoy their cars as much as we do.
Continue to enjoy your ride

Hi Hubert,
and welcome on board! We always like to see some pics of new forum members pardon from their car(s)!
Are you a member of the dutch Fiat spider club? Then your car will already be registered at the worldwide Spider Register.
Would be great to get an update and a new or actual picture for publication.
This is the list of the Netherlands, you can narrow it by type and color etc.:

Have fun!
Ralf
