I've upgraded my adha to a 32 adfa. I am putting on the aftermarket air cleaner and am thinking of putting on the filter at the end of the crankcase ventilation hose as opposed to routing it back through the cleaner.
My question. Will the filter on the end of the crankcase ventilation hose release smelly fumes that could eventually stink up the cab with the top up?
Thanks,

It depends on the condition of your engine. With a freshly built engine, there shouldn't be much blowby through that ventilation hose and so you probably wouldn't notice the smell. With an old tired engine, there will be enough blowby that you could smell it, and you might see some oil residue accumulating in the engine compartment over time.barnesjtsl wrote:Will the filter on the end of the crankcase ventilation hose release smelly fumes that could eventually stink up the cab with the top up?
I'd say try the filter at the end of the hose, and if it's objectionable in terms of smell or oil residue, move it back to the air cleaner intake.
