Pesto Pietro Linguini has passed

Post by 70spider »

Pesto my beloved spider has passed today. It occurred at 55 mph on slight bend in the road. A loud pop, like a backfire, felt like something shot out the tailpipe, instant death. DOB August 1970, a beautiful late summers day. Time of Death 2:36 pm January 20th 2023, an ugly cloudy cold day. He was only 52.
I hope everyone has better luck with their spider.

Wow, I didn't see your post until now. Do you know more about what happened? Sounds like more than just a loud backfire, but can it be fixed?

Sorry to hear about Pesto.

Perhaps, I haven't had time to look. A cold front and snow storm hit so a week or so of highs in the low thirties and wind, it sucks living on the moon.

But I thought the Land of Enchantment was supposed to be, well, enchanted? I always liked Northern NM although most of my time was spent around Santa Fe and Taos.

Many years ago, I was putting an engine back together, outside in the Winter, and the challenge was to keep the blowing snow out of the cylinders as I put the head back on. Yes, it does suck.
