I just purchased an 84 Pininfarina Azzurra from California - waiting on transport delivery.

It appears to be in superb condition, but some people bidding on it had concerns about the popping/crackling sound coming off throttle (stock fuel injection) and said I should check the temp sensor. So I might have some small repairs once I receive it.

Could run lean for a quick second when coming off the gas. Could be something as simple as an exhaust gasket leak or the O2 sensor.
If it is not one of the easier items, it could be timing. Good luck, lived in Philly for 34 years. E A G L E S, Eagles.
