Heating hose T

Post by charlielucky »

Hi, I've Been having trouble getting the air out of my cooling system so I want to instal a bleeder T on the heating hose. In the states this item is readily available and I keep searching to see if I can find one over here in France. The customs situation is truly awful at the moment so if anybody has a reference for one available here in Europe is will be much appreciated. I'm not even sure of the exact dimensions of the heater hose?

Thank you in advance

The "T" connection is pretty common here in the US, and most auto parts stores have them. Search for "5/8 Radiator Flush Tee With Cap" and you'll find pictures of the part. I don't know how common it would be in France, though.

The heater hoses are 5/8" inside diameter and whatever length they need to be to reach between the connection points. I think the metric size would be 16mm inside diameter although I don't know if that's a standard size.

Hi Bryan,

Thank you for the reply. I'll try a bit harder to find one over here with your information.
