Car runs great, except at about 3300 RPM it stumples until I get above 3700 or so. Pulls strong before and after.
2L, Twin Webers. Someone suggested the coil. Any thoughts or if the coils sounds like a good place to start let me know.
Thanks

Re: Stumble
Coils generally work or they don't. My first thought is that the distributor advance is either hanging up (sticking weights, broken or missing spring etc.) Or the curve is not appropriate for those 2 IDF''s. My second thought is those carbs need tuning. My third is a combination of the 2. Is this a new problem?

Re: Stumble
Distributor is a new 123 Model. Curve is an interesting thought. It is set for the "standard" curve recommended by the mfg.
But car is far from stock. So I may need to look into this a bit. Coil idea came from a mechanic who chased a similar problem down on an Alfa and it turned out to be the coil. Car has only been running with carbs sine early spring. Problem has always been there.
Thank you
