Where can I get a reasonably price air/smog pump 79 spider.

Post by barnesjtsl »

I live in the Peoples Republic of Portland OR and I have to get smog tested.

Anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced air pump for a 79 Spider? My old one is shot. I use this for two days every two years and I don't want to pay $200 for one.

Fiat did use GM air pumps. Generally the only difference is that it may not have metric threads, but that can be dealt with.

You can have mine for free because it is just taking up space on a shelf. I do not know if it works. Trouble is, you have to arrange for shipping. It is in Springfield, IL.

Thanks Coolbreeze but I just bought one on eBay. Bummer about these is that I will use it two days every two. years then disconnect it.

Thanks
