Bayless Ebay store

Post by apexwc »

Has anyone noticed that Bayless has an Ebay store, or am I the last one to know? I don't think they have the entire inventory on there, but their web site is a little clunky for it to be the only way to place an order.

That's what I figured must be happening. No phone orders, no local pickup. Still cheap and I get it in a day if they have it, though.

I recently purchased many items from him out of his catalog and on Ebay - including crate shipping a hood. I emailed him with any odd part questions and he was prompt and very helpful. The shipping was extremely fast & well packaged.

He has a ton of NOS stuff- all you have to do is email him.

They are great to deal with! They even took my friend on a tour of their place. She was thrilled and went on and on about how nice they were. They have just about anything you need at the best prices I can find, This sounds like a commercial now huh? Not really I just have had great service and such!

Its in the Stores section of ebay and its called baylessautoparts. I have not seen anything for sale in a while there, but they did sell a half dozen things in September.

Just speculating, but maybe they're giving eBay an evaluation.

My big objection to using them as a vendor is that they don't cut you any slack vs. auction or fixed-price. They still charge listing and a vig.

They've been on ebay for a while. I think one of the identities is baylessbonanza. Art is very responsive via email, when I was rebuilding the 1438 transmission (a different beast than the later 5 speed) and trying to find some emissions parts he went through the trouble of finding the right parts, as opposed to substitutes, and almost everything I received was FIAT OE.

The website isn't so hot to order from but once you get the hang of it isn't so bad either.
