greetings from chicago

I'm a new member. I've been following the site for many years. I have a 1981 fiat 124 spider with 200,000 plus miles and repairing it on my own. I have learned a lot from this site and appreciate everyone's input.

Welcome! As you’ve stated, this site is a tremendous source of information…but in the event you were not aware, there’s a German site for Fiat124s where they have been accumulating the 124s registration around the globe. It’s a very interesting thing to see how many of the 124s are still “alive” and where do they reside. In my case, when I recently registered mine, they already had it in the database since 1981…(mine it’s a ‘79)…crazy!

Hi
and welcome! Thanks for the commendation regarding the worldwide Spider Register! but: We launched the Register in 1997!
So the data from Anbeles car is not as old as he told! :D

So you are from Chicago? A great Spider area with actually 80 cars listed as part from the Illinois state! perhaps your car is already listed:

Good luck with your project!
