someone (not me of course) should edit wikipedia to state something about 1980 carbed models being extremely rare and far more valuable than other models. "Why?", you ask. just because we can. it'd be to prove a point, i guess.

Hey can you do that to my Spider?? I like it. Love the front end. My 77 didnt pass inspection. they said I need to put the bumpers on sigh.... I have the rear chrome ones from an older version but the front one is all twisted up... I just cant stand to put those rail road tracks back on. I cant believe how peppy this car is without those 200 pound elephant cages on.

That is a pretty sweet Spider, I am not a big fan of boddy mods on them but that one is done pretty well.

Could do without the Ferrari badge on the hood, though. That kind of ruins it for me.

I've always wanted a hood like that. I'd also need some closeable flaps hooked to a choke like cable so the Hawaii rains don't foul up the carb and such.

Let me think driving a Fiat around in Hawaii, what would be better, what would be better, hmmm....... Oh yea, NOTHING!!!! So when you die and go to heaven are you just going to ask to go back home and drive your Spider?

Can we all take turns visiting you and borrowing your car? Do you have a spare room or just some space on the floor?

I think the yellow "Ferrari" is hilarious and I remember when it was up on Ebay. I can't believe how much money someone paid for it! I personally think it's totally tacky & the best part is the engine with a piece of Ferrari long piece of metal with slapped over Fiat. Many Miata parts on it, which I think is a crime. JMHO of course.

You might want to remind him that the one and only car Ferrari ever collaborated with Fiat was the Dino.

Sure, ANYOBDY is welcome to come out and stay with me. I've offered several times but no one has taken me up on it. I'll even drive you around in the spider and show you some sights. But come on Gunsmith, West Palm Beach, thats not so bad.. you act like its Detroit or something. The only gripe I have is the roads, 5 worst in the nation, potholes EVERYWHERE. We don't even have freeze thaw, just poor substrate preperation and shotty worksmanship.

Matt,
I heard that you repair your roads with shreaded Pina Colada containers and Coconut husks mixed with leftover Banana Boat Tanning oil SPF 2! That way you can slide in the curves.

Yep, and I live in a little grass shack and surf to work. Lucky me, my wife wears a grass skirt and a coconut bra. Seriously, Ohau and Honolulu is a "major metropolitan city" with about 800,000 on the island of Oahu. A lot of first time visitors are surprised by how much development there is here.
