Hey everyone, I'm trying to make sense of all the coloured vac lines on my 1979. Any diagrams out there showing this? I've removed the egr and the reed valves and added in a single plane manifold, yet to replace the ADHA carb, but looking at putting a 38 DGES on. It'll prob all be clear when i put the new carb on, and i don't think i'll be needing any of them. Is that right?
Thanks

Yes.
The colored lines, from the original ADHA, are specific to the dual plane intake manifold that (unless I read wrong) you just replaced with a single plane. You will need to "plumb" your new carb to the new setup.
I'm not sure if an ADHA can be made to run correctly with all of it's emissions vacuum ports (where the colored lines attached) plugged,...
I kept a diagram of my ADHA/dual plane and their colored line attachments (in case they get used again),...if you need. And the Fiat Shop Manual has similar,...
A search of the Performance section will provide you with more info on this swap (commonly done with 34ADF or 32/36DFEV). I've done mine, and posted there, with pics,...
Have fun! Todd.
