i have one of the excellent Allison Auto HE ignition units fitted to my 2 litre Spider. I am About to fit a new old stock rev counter and am concerned about the hook up. Gauge has three wires which I assume to be positive negative and pulse..just need to be sure about where on the ignition module the pulse wise goes to.

Negative side of the coil.

I have an Allison electronic ignition...does the brown wire from the gauge connect with the blue wire from the ignition wire footed in the block ?
