Windshield washer activation?
I have a 1980 FI Spider and there's no button anywhere to activate the washer. Is it on the wiper stalk? pull it toward the driver to activate it?

Pretty common for the pump to itself fail. The pump can be replaced on the plastic bottle with a little effort.

Pulling the wiper lever towards you should activate the pump if i'ts working. Pump is on the same fuse as the wipers. If it is not working, check for blockage at both the reservoir pickup and the cowl nozzles.
A universal pump is easily mounted on the driver's side inner fender and will draw through an inoperative reservoir pump if the reservoir pickup is not blocked with mineral deposits. Just transfer the wires to the new pump and splicing it into the fluid line.
An owner's manual is a handy thing to have. Look for an online copy for your year that you can download. The Mirafiori library has some years.
