I have a 1976 and I drive it pretty much year round, so I want something a little tougher than my (currently leaking as I type this) soft top . If anybody is selling one let me know. My car is red so if it's red that would be great, but if a good neutral tone comes along that might work too. I'm assuming that the year doesn't matter for the top, but I could be wrong.
I live in Portland Oregon, and I would be willing to coordinate shipping if possible.
Also if anyone has tips or tricks for sealing a poorly fitted soft top, be my guest .
Thanks all.

Can you tell where it's leaking? Common leak areas are along the front bow (where it attaches to the top of the windshield frame), the side flaps where it contacts the top of the side window glass, and the area around the rear quarter window. Each of these might be fixable, but it sounds like you're leaning in the direction of a hardtop.chaneve wrote:Also if anyone has tips or tricks for sealing a poorly fitted soft top, be my guest
As for getting a hardtop, they do exist but hard to find. Shipping costs might be challenging of course.

Bryan,
I see a small leak coming from my rear view mirror, it's like a small line of water running down into the mirror.
It also leaks at the side flaps covering the doors, thats a big one.
Also because it was fitted poorly, the back part that hooks under the metal retainer pulls off and just flaps stiffly, leaving about an inch between the edge of the top and the body of the car.
Did you have some suggestions?
Thanks
