Personalized License Plates

Post by 73Spider »

Anybody have any personalized plates on their spider - or other cars?

I just got my new plate in the mail today. Obviously it says SPIDER73

In NC the new personalized plates are not embossed so I was a little dissapointed. Overall I think it looks pretty cool - will post pictures tomorrow.

I got one on my 72 but couldn't see paying the outrageous price for one on my 71:

yeah, vanity plates can get expensive. i still have one vehicle with vanity plates

i much more prefer Y.O.M. plates here in Michian. Currently that system provides a ONE TIME charge for the life of the "restricted use" vehicle

Do I see curtains in the garage?
Or is the plate in the house with the rest of the plates.

In Va. you can't get personalization on classic tags...which is what we just put on 80'- the one time fee is a good plus though

The 81' still has her regular tags "SPIIDER"

That sucks! I almost got 73SPIDER instead of SPIDER73. They would have looked cool parked next to each other :)

Yeah, that would've been cool. It would also be cool if NC had a law like the rest of the states for classic tags and the one time fee. :?
