Just bought this a month ago.
Thank you all for the wealth of knowledge here.
I have put in about 100 hours of work on the car trying to make it road worthy.
I have read the other post an wanted to make sure before i did anything.
Trying to locate the gearbox fill plug.
Is it the allen right above the exhaust?
Just didnt seem very high from the drain plug.
I took picks but dont know how to post

Re: Transmission fill Question
Should be a 17mm hex. Below the allen plug. Don't mess with the allen plug. see the attached post. http://www.hwww.fiatspider.com/f15/view ... ug#p265413

Re: Transmission fill Question
There's a tiny square bolt on the very back of the transmission, too.

Re: Transmission fill Question
Pretty sure you don't have to worry about the plug at the rear of the tranny.
Oil gets back there on it's own.

Re: Transmission fill Question
Just when draining. There is a baffle that traps oil back there.
