I recently experienced a shunt on a group drive in my 1973 Spider, insured by Hagerty.
Have any of you with Hagerty insurance on your vintage car filed a collision claim? Did your rates on your other policy(s) for your modern cars go up afterwards? I'd expect my Hagerty premium to be raised, but that's not my concern.
Hagerty collision claim raises other premiums?

Re: Hagerty collision claim raises other premiums?
I can't really answer your questions as I have no direct experience, but I do know that if I were to have an accident on my record, I would lose my "good driver" or "superior driver" discount, and my premiums would go up accordingly. I believe I have to be "incident-free" for 5 years to qualify for these rates, but I don't know how often an insurance company would check my record. Of course, if I filed a claim with one insurance company they would certainly know, but whether my other insurance company would find out, is not clear. I suspect they would, given all the personal data collection that is going on these days.

I was never at fault though.
