Finding a 124 in a junkyard.

Post by RobertwFiat124 »

Hey ya'll I want to find an interior to put in my 1977 124, because mine is trashed. I've noticed a lot of times ruined 124's can end up in yards with near flawless interiors and was wondering how I would go about tracking one down. Would love to pull a good dash, door lining, the passenger seat and the rear bench seat. Anybody know where I might look or any resources to make my search easier? I know autoricambi sells those new parts but I'm a cheapo and just looking to spruce it up for me, not resell.

Tough. I've yet to see one at the junkyard here in California.

try www.picknpull.com

and you can always keep an eye on www.copart.com auctions. Sometimes the cars get rear ended or whatever and the interior is fine.

I use https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/locations/
On east coast, but they have only had 1 Spider at the 1 near me in the past year. They at least post all cars online so you can keep an eye out for one near you.

I was looking for the same for my 85. I believe there was one in the New York area and a few in the north East on eBay listing parts. But I found the replacement door cards and seat covers are the way to go . Shipping is cheaper . I got the lower half door cards pair for like 120$ US. My tops half are good and I ordered a new chrome strip 5$ . For the clips I filed down some small nuts and flat head screws . They fit nice and is good as now.

Site that list all the salvage yards, and you can pick specific models and part:
Car-Part.com
Some of them post photos.

The - dash is important. Carpart.com looks same but not nearly as thorough.
