About 10 years ago there was a short lived company named PerformanceFiat.com They carried a big brake kit that used Fiat Uno turbo calipers and rotors. The rotors are bigger, vented, slotted and drilled. The Fiat Uno turbo calipers reportedly have a piston the same diameter as the larger 1985 Pininfarina Azura spider. They also use the same brake pads. Therefore, the Fiat Uno turbo calipers can use the 1985 rebuild kits.
Only two vendors carry rebuild kits for the 1985 front brake calipers. Looking at $28 for the two kits required seams like a lot when most of the standard rebuild kits will be around $5-8 and will do both front calipers.
Can anyone confirm the caliper piston size for the new Fiat 500's or 124 spiders? Looking to source the kits from a local parts store if possible. I'm not worried so much about the dust boot, as the existing ones are good. It's more the square O-rings I need.
