Bumperettes??? In what world...

I really need some help.
I'm entirely confused with the installation of the bumperettes and the brackets included.
I think I successfully mounted the rear bumper pads on the front of the car. *&%$
So I'm back to the drawing board.

The Rear?
1. Which ones go on the front and which ones go on the back? I think the smaller bumper pads with the longer shank go in the rear.
I'll assume that is correct until someone tells me otherwise.

Now... what they hell do they attach to? I thought they were bold on.?

The Front?
The extra brackets that mount in the front.. they don't match up with anything. How is this even sold as a kit. They look to be almost entirely useless. Does anyone have instructions that they came with. Mine did not.

I feel like I'm doing something completely wrong otherwise how could a product be so utterly NOT what it is supposed to do?

Someone save me please.
