if it looks like a black jeans its canvas , clean withmild soap and a bruch , afterwards use a sealand to get it back waterproof
a plastic top you can cleame with kitchen grease cleaner spray and feed the plastic with plastic exteriour spray
in the better carsupply shops they sell kits for them
