It was the best part of the car that I needed. I can fix it but it would have been nice not to have to.I'm trying to cut it up into sections that if someone needs a structural piece I can send it out for shipping and packaging cost. Disassembling a 74 spider what am I thinking.
Well I thought I could drill out all the spot welds on the back half of the car. I got all the visible ones and then found some on the inside of the car. It still wouldn't come off. I found out that there is a support that ties into the wheel well that is impossible to get to so out came the sawzall and I just started cutting. I finally got the rear quarter panel off and wouldn't you know it it fell on the ground and put a nice dent into the top seem. It was the best part of the car that I needed. Not sure what you are parting out. Is it just the rear end of the car or is this a parts car. If your are parting out bumpers, I'll take them.
