I only need an intake gasket and a set of four threaded studs for my carb.
I cannot find them available without paying $22.64 for shipping on the $17.05 order from AR. That's the least expensive shipping,...you can pay MORE! Texas to Colorado,...?!
Does anyone know where I can buy Fiat parts without paying more for shipping than for parts?

Re: Buying parts,...?
Could probably buy the studs at decent car parts places or even hardware stores.
\as for the gasket, make one, can get that at car parts places as well; my base gasket was made. One comes with some of the rebuild kits as well

Seems like Allison’s usually charges less for shipping. I would call AR or Allison’s or whoever and see if they would be willing to get reasonable on the shipping.

Re: Buying parts,...?
Bummer, Allison's doesn't carry either part. And yeah, I contacted AutoRicambi and they state that FedEx sets their shipping charges,...I was told that they were sorry that they couldn't be of more help.
Imagine this, 81SPIDERMATT: MY CAR DOESN'T NEED ANYTHING ELSE!
I'll cut, and dress, my carb studs. And order the gasket from whomever has the cheapest shipping (I don't have appropriate gasket material, at the moment).
Kind of a really ugly time for things to be EXPENSIVE,...I'm glad that FedEx is still getting paid!

Give me 2-3 weeks or whenever things clear up a bit and I’ll go buy the AR parts and stick them in USPS for you.

I really hate to admit it,...
It's amazing, the deals you can find on eBay.

Re: Buying parts,...?
Time for an alternative view point....
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, for what it is worth here is mine..
1: Do I want to pay $22.64 for shipping, no I do not.
2: Do I want Fiat vendors to stay in business? Absolutely!
3: How much time do I want to spend looking for gasket material or fabricating/ cutting studs?
Not much, life is too short and quite frankly I value my time....is it worth $20 an hour....to me it is.
I know some people have vast amounts of time, I am deeply envious of you!
3a: I can drive to a larger hardware store with the hopes of finding the studs, that is going to take time and gasoline. Here in Oregon it also means potential exposure to COVID 19 as well as possibly waiting in line to enter as many stores only allow so many people in the store. Case in point, I needed some stainless 5mm fasteners which my nearest ACE hardware stocks, I spent 35 minutes there....the bulk of which was simply waiting to get into the store. I also had to drive 28 miles (and 35 minutes) each way..but that is my problem.
4: Just look at the cost of packaging, I bought a padded envelope to mail a CD recently from USPS,
$1.50. Maybe you feel comfortable with an intake manifold gasket shipped in an envelope, I do not.
5: You are correct, there are “bargains” on eBay, there is also a lot of junk and poor business practices.
Though I am not religious I believe 124 owners are blessed to have great vendors, they make our life
easy. I have transacted very little business with Vick’s but have been averaging several orders a month with AR. Absolutely top notch inventory and service. They stock a tremendous number of what I perceive to be slow moving parts at very reasonable prices. And that FedEx shipping you complain about, it is fast. I live in rural Oregon and it is typically three days.
Nuff Said!

Re: Buying parts,...?
You missed the point entirely,...I do not want to pay $22.64 to ship a $6.29 gasket from Texas to Colorado. Sorry, that's just stupid.
I've spent hundreds of dollars with our Fiat vendor, and at least two others, over the years,...so I don't feel like I'm taking anyone's business away.
I'm retired and we live 20 miles from any town. Individual eBay sellers can deliver directly to my door, so I can stay home (where I SHOULD be, right now), and not expose myself, or others. A nice Italian-made intake manifold gasket will be here by 3/31,...
Must take you a lot of effort to cut and dress studs,...I'm actually going to just use the ones that I've got.
Lighten up a bit, dude.

Re: Buying parts,...?
Have you purchased yet? I’m going to be placing and order and I could add your gaskets to it. Then just drop in the USPS mail to you. PM me if interested.
