that is wonderful!

One of my coupes - the first I owned - I got in 1998. My son used to love to ride in it as a newborn & sometimes a quick trip around the block was the only way to get him to go to sleep. Then, when he turned 15, we dusted it off for him to drive and briefly it was his first car (driving a manual transmission was one of the requirements for parental support of a license - my rule). A few years later I ended up selling it to a local guy who was bent on fully restoring it (which it realistically was far in need of back in 1998, so....). Fast forward a few more years and that guy had completely dismantled it and gave it to another local friend. Then, that owner decided he was never going to bring it back so he gave it to me as a complete basket case. So, now I am back in possession of it & it's in the queue to come back to life (probably a bare-bones track-esque car with a 2L and quick) and the funny thing is that looking through my records after all that I still legally own the car (I got the title in my name back) and even have a valid antique TN tag for it. It's a car that would make many Coupe enthusiasts cringe, but for me it's got great karma.

Hello all,
to close off this topic, the Sport was sold and will be used for vintage racing. Not everybody's cup of tea, but at least the car was saved. Thanks to all who provided advise,
cheers,
Abel
