I took out my carpets and got most of the insulation out, with the exception of the passenger side floorpan. Any suggestion on good ways to remove the remaining insulation?
I've heard dry ice is good, but not sure exactly how to utilize it.

You mean the black tar like substance stuck to the floor pans? A mallet and an old chisel worked for me.

I used a heat gun and scraper. While the tar is warm, it seems to lift from the metal and I was able to take sheets off at a time.

I've not tried it (haven't had too) but I have heard the dry ice is the way to go. I saw a vid where a guy just got the ice, laid it on the tar like substance, and later it easily scraped off with a puddy knife. The ice just keeps it from smearing, gumming up, etc.
