Does anyone know if the mid 78' had the 79' door handles... I'm suspecting my doors are off a 79'? I know this is true with other car companies, just not sure if Fiat did as well. It's titled as a 78', but after 30yrs of survival... who knows what's been put on her. Any feedback would be great.....

I got the same on my 78, our cars must have been built late in the year. You may even have a 79 differential also. I have not checked my engine and body numbers against Fiat model and serial numbers for various years, something i may do tonight.

they made running changes, so it's pretty common to see 78s with the later doors
