If you want to devilishly drive the next owner crazy, wire in a simple enable switch for the TTS, switch it on before starting cold, switch it off after it starts, and leave it "off" (disabled) when the car is warm.

Maybe in a few years, we will spend a week or two here on the Forum trying to figure it out.

I bet you can get one from someone here, they are obviously common. And easy to install. Try "spiderparts". John may have one? I of course understand that they are very expensive, and I like supporting the vendors as we all do, but this is one of those cases where a used one is worth a try, especially since it is an easy replacement.

I did actually buy one used from the board with some other Fi stuff for great price. I have not tested it yet on the bench.
You mention it is easy to change? What is easiest way to approach ? From bottom of the car? From top (remove fuel rail/injectors ?)

I haven't replaced mine, but I think from the top, by feel, as the sight lines from below are probably badly blocked. I bet you can get the replacement done without pulling more than 1 injector and its hose?

I have the same problem with my 1985, just started this late summer. I replaced the temp sensor (front of engine where the hoses come together) last year because the car would just quit while driving down the road about ten minutes after starting but this is something new very intermittent. Car will start fine hot or cold and then it will not start when hot never know when this will happen I just have to sit and wait it out, it will eventually start. My question is did you get yours fixed and what was the problem? marv swo
