Can anyone recommend a good carrier for shipping a car across country?
This is not for a Fiat or other sports or collectible, but a midsize SUV.
Thanks

https://www.autotransportdirect.com/ Their site offers an instant quote; just plug in your vehicle and shipping locations. I've used them twice with good results, as have some of my friends.
You should be aware that the majority of car shipping companies are merely brokers. The actual work is performed by independent drivers and their rigs.

Hope this helps...
We've used Nationwide United Auto Transport several times in the past for car shipping and they always come through for us. They're based out of Los Angeles and operate throughout the U.S.
Word of advice, don't get quotes from "online calculators" as they are merely estimates. The best way to get an accurate quote is to contact car shipping companies directly.
