Performance Exhaust

Hi All

New to this forum and to Fiats in general so appreciate any help!

Looking to replace the stock exhaust on my 1979 Spider. Any suggestions re a kit that would help with performance? I've come across a few but not sure what would be best.

I have Fun Imported system from behind the cat. 4 bolts flange. All SS if interested. I paid $250 for it. Make me an offer. The kit you check is way too expensive. I paid less than half that price for my 2.5 all 304SS and magnaflow 3 chambers. It was way too loud for me so i add a 14 inches resonator and now the sound is good. Your system is straight true exhaust...it will be loud. The reason i change for 2.5 is that i have a turbo and the 2.5 system awake the beast. If you plan to keep it stock, you don't need 2.5.

Header (SKU 27-6320) - $299
Center (SKU 27-9371) - $169
Muffler (SKU 27-9372) - $169

All at 2.25" which is 1/2" larger than stock.

Header (SKU 27-6320) - $299
Center (SKU 27-9371) - $169
Muffler (SKU 27-9372) - $169

All at 2.25" which is 1/2" larger than stock.

If your Spider is otherwise stock, you're wasting your money on a fancy system if you're looking for added performance. There are other things to do before that (mainly on the induction side). If you just want a system that has a nice "performance" sounds the Ansa "twin tip" is a nice way to go.

I bought Vics stainless system in the spring (27-9371 + 27-9372 ) and im very happy with the quality. Also added a Summit glass pack. That combo worked for me with a not too loud report.

Im done with Ansa's. They simply don't last that long for me, with condensation staying in system on a lot of shorter drives and only driving 6 months in Michigan.

It's stock but in really poor shape so will need to be replaced unfortunately.
