Red interior sources

Post by JasperNorton »

Hey all,

I've been looking around at some of the various Fiat Spider web sites and I have found plenty of Black, Tan, and Blue interior sets for the seats but none seem to have Red ones. Anyone have a source for these? Also, any ideas on custom colored carpets for the 124?

Thanks!

Jasper

These are the ones I know, right off bat,...

There may be others.
Nice vinyl from autoberry.com. I have yet to get a swatch from carupholsteryguys.com,....
Mine's a red interior '79. I hope to re-color (dye) my faded original red carpet.

Thanks Wetminkey, I really appreciate it!

I'm aiming for a silver spider with red (like yours). I came across a Grigio Chiaro Metallic (dark, almost charcoal grey) the other day that I think would work really well too. Just have to check the mechanicals on it. We'll see...

Yeah, but my carpet is original. As long as it's appearance is acceptable, I'd like to keep it,...it has just faded. Otherwise it's in great shape,...
Thanks, though.

Red here!

I went with Procar Rally. They fit like a glove! I also sent in the rear skin to have custom made by the factory.

But, those are new, modern seats, correct?

Yep, brand new. Once I started getting into the original... I threw in the towel. Not worth time or money (in my opinion) plus I wanted a custom red. Procar sent several color samples.. we ended up on burnt red. I’ll take more pics on a sunny day!

I have the Garage Pro Rally seats in mine which sit way too high. I would love a set of previous loved original seats that someone is throwing the towel in on to reupholster even if the frames need a bit of welding. I currently get a real good view of the windshield frames unless I slouch and the seats are huge barely fitting in the car.

Mine is more of a beach bums car than a showpiece.
