TPS and Idle
Been at this high idle for a while, I had set the idle with TPS out of position. Soon as I went to set the switch car stalled. What could it be? I can hear the TPS click Wondering if it is the ECU not sending a signal to enrich.

Re: TPS and Idle
I seem to have gotten the idle down to a comfortable 1000 rpm, This was accomplished, With advise. Not totally satisfied yet.

Re: TPS and Idle
You could try to replace to idle adjustment o-ring, I got a replacement from Midwest Bayless. With the new o-ring I could properly adjust the idle speed.

Re: TPS and Idle
What I finally did, Moved the TPS out of position. Then followed the procedure, Made sure the o-ring was good. With the TPS out of position I could bring the idle down with the throttle stop without stalling. Got it down to 1000 from 1200 1400 rpm's with the secondary air screw open. Stalls or tries to but that may be an ignition timing issue, Have to look at that.
