Seatbelt receivers

Post by rodo »

Trying to sort options for my seatbelts. I'm trying to keep the OEM as they are red and in decent shape. Well, the belts and the male part of the buckle are in good shape. The receivers have disintegrated. (What kind of plastic did they use in Italy in the eighties???) Aftermarket suppliers won't sell just the receivers (a safety thing) so...does anyone sell them? Or has anyone bought used ones that have not yet turned to a crumbly mess?

Take a look at safetyrestore.com.
Redid ours with new webbing using the original hardware and they look like new.

I have also had Safety Restore re-web ancient belts for me. The new webbing has been identical to the original,...nice service.
