Prima brakes question

Post by Rotoariesarecool »

Got the Prima front brakes kit from vickauto and the rotors are not fitting properly. The hub has two steps to it, it steps up about half way in and gets bigger and the new prima rotors only fit over the smaller part. What should i do? take some material out of the bore of the rotor? I hesitate because I feel like rotors are the last thing i wanna take a file too. Anyone else have this problem?

Could you send us a photo of the issue you're having?
We've not seen this issue on any other kit that has gone out.

Please email us to info@vickauto.com

Thanks
Matt

False alarm, took a look again today with some better light and saw that the rotors left a ridge on a thick layer of gunk on the hub and that is what it was stuck on, not the step up on the hub. Grabbed a wire wheel and 10 minutes later the rotors fit. Your guys responses are always appreciated thank you.

P.S. While I have you, VAS what is the torque on your guy's wheel stud kit, is it the same as stock?
