Hello,
My name is Ian. I am swapping out an ADHA from a 79 Spider. I have purchased a 32 ADFA. I am picking it up in a few days. I am planning on buying the single plane 1800 manifold too.
What do I need to consider when installing this carb?
What vacuum lines do I need to get rid of?
What ones do I keep?
How do I keep my vacuum advance operational?
Are there any fitment issues when installing the manifold? (i thought i read something about the oil dip stick?)
Will there be an issue with needing to plug any ports on the 1800 manifold?
Does the 1800 manifold have mounting for the EGR?
Is there a true step by step guide somewhere on this forum? I can not find anything specific on this swap.

Ian:
If you will email me at whhopson@southernco.com I will send you some marked up pictures of my conversion. Initially I put on a 32 ADFA but later put on a 34 ADF. The 1800 intake manifold will not have an EGR port. You will need to get an oil dipstick from a fuel injected car.

Not specific to the ADHA to ADFA swap, but very similar,...you might get some more info by checking my thread in the 'Performance' section: "ADHA to DFEV". I just finished THAT swap, and it includes answers to a couple of your questions. If you have more questions after reading, post 'em up here, or you can PM me here, also. A number of us have swapped carbs and manifolds recently, or are in the process,...
