Sometimes it’s fun to be loud!
If anyone is interested, I ordered the 2.25” kit from Summit Racing. Only draw back - doesn’t come in stainless at this odd size.

It was pretty easy to install on my Vick Auto exhaust.
- buy a sharp 18 tooth sawsaall blade
- find 8.5” of straight pipe to cut and replace with kit
- clamp (use putty) or weld together
- route cable to your choice
- wake up the neighbors!
I’ll post a video soon! It might not be for all, but man it’s sure fun to flip that switch!

That's fun!!
I have some of those parts in a drawer. In my case, I want to have a cut out immediately after the turbo downpipe to increase spool time and flow.
How is the sound (edited) when it is closed? Do you hear anything?

I just use a standard pneumatic muffler cut off tool or a cut off wheel in an angle grinder. Once you've got one and learn how to use them you won't go back to using a sawzall as a substitute for cutting metal. What you save on sawzall blades and time will make it well worth the investment.

I love it, especially the switch.
I also like the cover you put on your ashtray. I’ll be adding that mod to my list of projects.
