1973 Fiat 294 "Oriental Yellow". We are using a period correct paint code to match the retro design mods we are incorporating into the build.

Re: Electric Fiat 124
It's a great color. It looks modern like the "Mustang Fury" orange but even better, is it's true to the period you're going for.

Electric Fiat 124 Motor Mounts
Motor mount placement. Picked up a couple mounts from Autoricambi. The upper brackets pick up the ears of the motor adapter plate. Places motor weight forward nicely.

Re: Electric Fiat 124
Yes! It will be our 1st system ready to go. We are essentially open to orders for the 124 system. One has been ordered for a neat 124 build in Seattle that should be a fun watch @project_eabarth being performed @theshopseattle
We will be documenting and posting the installation work this and next week on instagram @electricgte and also @electronmonkey. Some youtube and posts here will be made as well.
There will be 2 battery/motor options: 25/35 kWhr Tesla based modules mated with the 120/144v Hyper 9 motors respectively. The 144v motor has a bit longer torque run out on RPM’s. Base info: 125HP/175ft-lbs.
We are solidifying the final components list and labor to pre-build/run the systems. Complete assembly and bench testing occurs prior to shipping. 90 day order time frame currently. Looks like it will be a little more than the price of buying @8 decent Fiat 124’s:) $35-40k. 25/35 and the any shop/folks w some basic fabrication will be able to install the system. Systems specs @ options coming as well.

Re: Electric Fiat 124
Thanks for the updates. I’m a fan of what you’re doing and think we’ll be seeing more and more of this type of mod in the near future.
I haven’t read everything in this thread and apologize if this was previously discussed, but how does the convertible top effect the aerodynamic efficiency? I’m guessing it’s significant if long range is the goal.

Re: Electric Fiat 124
Convertible top make it plain fun:). A little progress..... Motor mount arms will be redone with one piece billet arms (Adpater plate face to stock motor mounts) now that we have the motor alignment. Super easy to drop in when we finish it up.
Hyper 9 Motor and Controller installation....
Looks good with the retro styling and grill....
Rough fitment but wait til we put all the 3D printed parts in and clean this up:)
LED headlights, running and turn signal...
LED side markets all around....

Really nice, and the wave of the future. For now, meaning waves follow other waves and are followed by the next wave. You will have one of the original classics in years to come!

Re: Electric Fiat 124
The level of attention to detail in the body and interior would be impressive on any car - electric or not.
