Convertible top FRAME

Post by HawaiiSpiderman »

Anyone ever have their top frame welded back on at the front bow corners? Is this possible or would buying a new frame be easier? Any ideas on where to find one? 1979

Mahalo for all advice!!

Try the forums sponsors for parts or any of the Fiat Specific Shops.

For example:

https://www.midwest-bayless.com/Fiat-12 ... 78-u8.aspx

C. Obert only appears to have CS1 front top bows that are pulls the need some repair at this time but can be a great resource too:

Update...bought a new front top bow piece from Vicks. Stay fast top from Convertible Top Guys online, and am also waiting for new rear qtr window metal frames and new rubber seals all the way around.

May sound like overkill for a car intended to be driven only in the sun, but in Hilo we get over 300 inches of rain per year. It can be blue sky sunny, drive 10 minutes and be under a cloud.
