I initially posted my concept to this forum back in 2013 and started the project a couple years ago. I reached a milestone this week by getting the engine running. Here is a short video.

I have a lot left to do before it’s ready for the road, but I would love to see what everyone thinks of it so far.

Your "service engine soon" light is on. Better get on that!
More seriously - I'm pretty impressed. That's quite an engineering job! You should start a thread on it and keep us posted on progress. I'd follow it for sure. I'd be interested in what you're doing about transmission and differential for example.

I agree. ice job Thanks for sharing. Although engine conversions are not for everyone I'm always impressed with anyone who starts and finishes such a challenge.I'm pretty impressed. That's quite an engineering job!

Now, that's pretty cool! I'm impressed. I know what it takes to successfully swap engines,...
I swapped in a 327ci V8 to replace my ol' 1953 Studebaker's toasted 233ci V8 way back in 1973 and what a tire-smoker it turned out to be! Seems like that swap would be easy, compared to this one!
Please let us know further about powertrain and electrical/mechanical plumbing that you had to go through to accomplish this!
Again, nice job.
Todd.
