Replacing fuel filter

Post by Martyn »

I need to renew fuel filter. To depressurise can I just remove the fuse or disconnect the battery and then crank the engine? Or follow the more involved suggestion in the service manual? I have a 1985 pininfarina. Thanks in advance.

Not sure about depressurizing but you should consider replacing the flexible fuel line too, especially if it is old. Ask me how I know!

I bought a cheap vacuum pump, Not complicated. Then crimped the line from the tank. #1 on replacing that short hose with 8mm FI hose and fi clamps.
