Centerlink

Post by mdrburchette »

I thought I'd take the 71 out for a spin yesterday and as I was turning onto the main road, I noticed a grind/squeek (greek) coming from the passenger side area, so while filling up with liquid gold, I popped the hood and noticed the centerlink boot wasn't quite right. I took the car back home and got the 72 out instead. What do you think, time for a new centerlink or am I too cautious?

us NAWTHUNERS would be saying... seven more weeks of driving season (if we're lucky)... then 6 months of downtime. can i make it last until then? then, we'd add up the past two weekends in a row lost to torential downpour, and say ?seven? weeks left? Today's temperature is what we'd expect for mid to LATE october.

drag the other spider out, and change this when it fits the schedule. you may be overly cautious, but i generally don't blame folks for that. better safe than sorry, specially with babies and grand babies in the area, and you have pin pointed the creeking.

if it's creaking, I'd replace it asap. Not a big job at all
