Chinese Carb?
While rebuilding my motor I was reading how a particular vendor online claiming to be genuine Weber may not be accurate, so I took a closer inspection of the one I have and came to the conclusion that mine was more than likely a fake. With that being said I planned on replacing it with one that is a Weber, but today while doing some break in miles the carb decided to try to blow up my car. I went to start it and heard and felt a distinct click from the carb and then the engine fired up and went straight to 7000 rpms before I could turn the motor off. I hope no damage to the motor occurred and I am glad this didn't happen while on the road. At first I thought it was the linkage but it is all fine and operates as before. I know only enough about carbs to change the jets so I have no idea what could have went wrong. Moral is you get what you pay for.

Re: Chinese Carb?
I buy one from ebay and send it back the next day to the chinese seller. I get a complete refund for this few grams of low level aluminum but i lost 50€ for the shipping.
Don't buy Chinese Carb ! It's only a waste of time and money ...
