Hey gang,
I am finally getting past the glaring issues and starting to narrow my focus. There are some things that weren't initially obvious that I now believe need immediate attention. I cannot find anything that describes what size or type of screw or bolt is required to keep panels attached.
My list of "where are the bolts"
front kick panels
center console
back seat quarter panels
interior trim piece around boot
chrome/stainless frame around grille
both door sills
Any help is appreciated, I'm grasping at straws.
Thanks!

Re: Nuts, bolts and/or screws
Hey Just - I was going to post the same question about the interior screws.
I need to replace most of the internal trim screws in my 1981 Spider since many are missing and the rest are either not original or rusted. These are for the door panels, center console, kick panels, back panels etc. I am not sure where to source them. I like the originals with the imbedded finishing washers.
The next best option is to get a stainless steel #6 screw of various lengths from Home Depot and add a finishing washer. This doesn't look quite as nice. You can buy a package of one piece #8 ss trim screw/finishing washer from AutoZone. these are nice looking but the #8 is too big. So if anyone out there knows where the get the originals, something like the originals or a one piece #6 trim ss screw/finishing washer, please advise.
Many thanks,
Roy

I've had good luck with belmetric. These might work, but I've never tried these particular ones.
