I've never seen one in a car or heard of anyone calling us with one.
The question is how LOUD do you like your transmission. Straight cut gears are much louder than the slant cut you have in there now. Think of every gear as loud as your reverse but you're going even faster....
For race use (if the gears are properly stronger than OE) then these could be good. But for most people a straight cut gearbox would cause them to go crazy due to the sounds while driving.

Did not know that about straight cut.. However, the 124 variant 2 tranny shows one image with helical gears.
