Steel brake line kit from AR

Just wanted to give everyone thinking about buying AR's steel brake line kit to be aware there is a problem with them. It's the flare nut. They use the same flare nut on both ends. M10x1.25 non threaded lead in and non thread at the top by the nut. This flare nut goes into the brake hose no problem. But the flare nut on the master cylinder side needs to be non threaded lead in, and threaded all the way to the nut. They won't seal, and the master cylinder leaks like crazy. Another annoying thing about them is instead of the nut being 10mm like the old ones, they are 11mm! Going to see about getting my money back, or have them send a second set with the correct flare nuts. So frustrating.

I installed a set with no problem, but yes I believe that needed to go to 11 mm wrench.
Usually I am the one with leaks or issues but all worked with me.

I put them in too, no problems. 11mm wrench, yes.

Did both of you put in a new master cylinder with the brake lines or did you keep the old MC?

Are you talking about the rigid lines from the Master cylinder to the wheels, or the braided SS flex lines from the wheel to the caliper? I have done both, but made my own rigid lines from the MC to the wheels.
