Hi guys,
I got my car running and detailed over the weekend, needless to say it was very educational.
New issue: Interior panels - Most, if not all, of the interior kick panels, plastic trim etc is missing the screws to hold them in place. I have a 1969 parts catalog, but it doesn't specify which screws/bolts I need.
Specifically: front kick panels, both no screws
rear quarter panels, missing altogether
rear trim above back seat, no screws
I look forward to your input, would really like to have it tightened down asap.
Thanks!
Rand

Re: Interior panels
Not sure about all the screws, but those canvas-top screws that are used for the boot cover that go into the rear quarter panels, I got ones for a Ford Mustang in mine - the only other ones I could find were the screw-type ones that are used for boat covers and I wanted a bolt and nut for it. Wound up putting the nut in backwards - was the only way to get it to fit as they aren't quite long enough to go through the quarter panel and holder behind it the regular way. Been working great so far. I found them on Amazon.

My local Ace Hardware has an awesome selection of hardware. I took a trim screw there and was able to find matching screws in stainless that look great in the car.

If you don't have any, it's going to be tough, Fiat used a bunch of different trim screws. Some are stainless or chrome, others are black. They also use different trim washes in different locations. Auto parts stores will have an assortment box, get it and sort out what you need and how many. The piece below the rear window has washers that look kind of like this \__/.
Best bet would be to find someone close to see what you need.

Thanks to everyone. I guess I'm going to figure it out, trial-and-error ways. Wish me luck. I'm armed with a Totally Stainless catalog and will make it happen. Pics to come soon... I hope.
