Hi all,
I'm trying to install a 'new' frame with windshield, but I'm struggling with the rubber gasket. I found some posts, but the exact positioning of the gasket is not clear to me.
So I made a drawing, hope it helps and is self explaining:

The question is where the middle flap goes: in front of the gutter or over the gutter. I have a clear acces to the gutter, dashboard and coil are out of the way, so no worries there.
Help is appreciated!

Hi DutchSpider. #1 is how I did mine. When you set it up for a trial run you'll get it. What was throwing me off was forgetting that the cowl has that front-most flap atop it. Indeed, you might have to work it a bit to get that front flap to sit flat on the cowl.
Let me suggest that when you do this you have another pair of hands to help. You do not want the windshield to slip out of the frame as you are setting it in place!

I’m in the market for all three components...
1) new chrome frame 2) gasket 3) glass.
Did you get any competitive pricing? Cost a small fortune!
