So I just wanted to close the loop here and let the group know how the heater worked out. It worked very well and I could have the garage going at 70 degrees if I wanted to. It has a thermostat on it, so I turned it down, and the unit cycled on and off as needed. It does not have a huge blasting fan, it is quiet but effective, and it was enough to heat the whole two bay garage up so I could comfortably work out there throughout the winter. Again, I did thoroughly insulate, both the walls and the ceiling, so I did not have any heat leakage. I hung it from the ceiling in the back corner of the garage. It comes with a bracket, so I bolted that up onto a cross member, and tightened it just snug enough so that I could reach up and turn it a bit if I wanted to redirect the heat. So far so good.
