Hi all. Can someone please explain how to take round chrome rings off of the car to adjust the headlamps ? I cant figure out how to take those rings off,,,

There is a screw at the bottom of the chrome ring

These screws are frequently stripped, mine are. Thankfully, the headlights are in position to pass inspection, so I haven't re-tapped to a larger size. But anyway, if they don't seem to adjust, this is likely the problem.

But they screw in plastic. Probably not to hard to remove.

Yes, probably easy to repair, I am just lazy since they point in the right direction. :wink:

Depending on model year, you may not need to remove the chrome bezel in order to adjust the headlamps. There are five identical #1 Phillips machine screws in each bucket. The three securing tabs hold the lamp in place. The other two adjust height and L/R. A shot of BP Blaster or Rost-Off on these screws and a sharp (properly-sized) screwdriver makes the job easier. YouTube videos and Internet posts abound with how to aim headlamps.
